There is always a physician on call. We admit pediatric patients to CRMC and see newborn babies are cared for by the neonatologist at CRMC. We also maintain good relationships with physicians at Children’s Hospital for those who wish to have their child admitted at Children’s. In addition, we have after hours phone coverage for any questions. You can reach the nurse on call by calling the hospital operator at 256-737-2000. A physician is always available as well if needed.
We admit adult patients to the hospitalist service at CRMC and do provide after hour phone coverage for other emergent situations that may arise. Adult patients may contact the physician on call by calling 256-737-2000 as well.
